Pharmacy Cake

Here it is! My latest cake. My friend's husband graduated from Pharmacy school, and she requested a cake. The vial on the top was made from gumpaste, and so were the University logo and "prescription" on the bottom tier. The rest was made from fondant, including the little pills. The top tier is rice krispy treats; that's why it looks lumpy. Yeah, I'm still working on having non-lumpy rice krispy layers. The bottom layer is chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I enjoyed making this cake, especially the vial and writings. I love working with fondant and gumpaste! They are so versatile; I feel like I can do anything with them!

The white pills are anti-depressants. The brown pills resemble ADD pills. The orange pills are...well, lets just say, good luck and congratulations pills :).





The label reads:
"INSERT ONE CAPSULE IN EACH EAR
EVERY 30 MINUTES AS NEEDED
FOR DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMERS"
90 Fluoxetine 20 mg Capsule (Prozac) PRN Refills

My husband (who was a Pharmacy tech for several years) wrote it. I wouldn't have known how to!

    I LOVE IT!!!! So great. Great job Amy...wish I could have been there to eat it! I love the label too. That is funny stuff. Sure miss you and little Gab!

    Thanks for every other informative site. The place else may just I get that kind of information written in such an ideal means? I have a venture that I’m just now operating on, and I have been on the look out for such information.
